Hi all! My name is Sarah Simpson, and I am an Instructor & Trainer out of Ooltewah, TN. near Chattanooga. I am a strong believer of good horsemanship, knowing the basics and having a firm foundation before you can build your way to the top. A rider with understanding and patience towards the horse,is a strong, accomplished rider, regardless of how many years they have been riding. Most of the time it is the rider's fault, not the horse's. So if you are able to use the knowledge you have, before reacting, you will get so much farther in your riding experience. I am here to help you with that, and gain your knowledge.

Ground work forms a bond & trust between horse and person, it will then lead to an understanding between horse and rider under saddle with the horse being more aware of its body & mind. While undersaddle, the flat work will build confidence and balance among horse and rider, patience and understanding between the team. Once the foundation and basics are learned, they can go on to excelling in the selected discipline desired. Without GOOD secure flat work the balance will not evolve and the team will fall apart somewhere down the line. Whether it be jumping, high level dressage, barrels, or reining, you must know how to breathe, be balanced, and ride together as one, understanding eachothers moves.
